“The details are what fascinate me, the way good prose resonate, the way paint moves and is applied. Writing and painting are like food and drink to me. They are essential to my being.”
I think my painting and my writing go well together. They are both concerned with the seemingly small things, the wonderfully illuminating details. Whether they are rendered in paint or with words, they express a deep fascination with the ordinary, extraordinary aspects of human existence, the character of life and things often overlooked.
